Energy Reports

New Build Developments & Refurbishments

An energy report for a proposed development is a written statement that considers both passive and active energy efficiency measures and the feasibility of low and zero-carbon technologies:

  • Optimise building fabric taking a ‘fabric first approach.’

  • Space & water heating systems/cooling.

  • Solar PV, heat pumps, air & water waste recovery systems.

The Energy Report makes recommendations to improve the energy efficiency of any new development, reducing energy costs and CO2 emissions. It can also be submitted as part of a planning application to outline how the development will meet the Planning Authority’s policy in favour of sustainable development.

3Co Consultancy Services aim to reduce capital costs as far as possible by recommending the most cost-effective solutions for our clients.

We can also produce the SAP/SBEM Calculations, which may be needed to prepare the Energy Report.
