Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)

Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are required for existing dwellings and rental properties. They provide an assessment of a building’s energy efficiency, giving the property a rating from A to G, where A represents the highest level of energy efficiency and G the lowest.

A higher EPC rating indicates a more energy-efficient property and is typically associated with lower energy consumption and reduced fuel costs for occupants.

After carrying out a home survey, the EPC will include recommendations for improvements that can help reduce energy use, lower running costs and minimise the property's impact on the environment. Typical recommendations may include measures such as installing loft or floor insulation or switching to more energy-efficient lighting.

3CO Limited is accredited as a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) with Elmhurst Energy, ensuring EPC assessments are carried out in accordance with recognised industry standards and regulatory requirements.
