SBEM Calculations

New Build Commercial Premises, Extensions & Conversions

SBEM (Simplified Building Energy Model) Calculations are used to determine how much heat, light, and ventilation a commercial or other non-dwelling property uses each year and how much CO2 is emitted.

It is a Government approved methodology that calculates how energy efficient the building is based on its geometry, occupancy, MEP services, and construction type.

An SBEM calculation should be produced for all new builds, converted, and extended commercial premises.

We provide SBEM calculations for offices, retail shops, hotels, warehouses, and restaurants to ensure compliance with Building Regulation Approved Document L (Conservation of Fuel and Power).
