The Business Emissions Saving Scheme (BESS) is an Isle of Man Government initiative delivered by the Department for Enterprise to help businesses reduce energy use, lower operating costs, and cut carbon emissions.

Funding Available
The scheme provides two key forms of support:
75% grant (up to £5,000) towards the cost of an energy audit
100% interest free unsecured loans from £1,000 to £100,000 for energy efficiency improvements
Energy Audits
An energy audit is required to access loan funding.
It provides a clear assessment of how your building and operations use energy and identifies practical opportunities to reduce consumption and improve efficiency.
Eligible Improvements
Projects supported under the scheme may include:
Energy efficient lighting and controls
Heating system upgrades and controls
Insulation and building fabric improvements
